.25 inch smaller than the white ones in same size

I really like these shoes but I ordered 2 pairs. One white and one black and the black ones measure at least one quarter of an inch smaller than the white ones and also smaller than the other pairs of vionics I already own. On feet a quarter inch can make a big difference so I was disappointed in the fit of the black pair. The store, Soul to Soul has great service but the receipt for these shoes was noted as final sale even though that was not shown when I made the online purchase.
