Mephisto Zaverio Fit - Black

An excellent comfortable cork sandal from Mephisto. I ordered it from Soul to Soul just a couple of days before it came down in price. Soul to Soul would not refund me the difference in money

Everything went smoothly.

These were recommended by a podiatrist as being good for plantar fasciitis, and I was told to wear them all the time in the house. They are very good quality, but the do squeak when you walk in them and the sole is so thick I feel that I am 2 inches taller. The floor bed is very hard for someone with sore feet, so I sometimes have to give my feet a break from them and put on my old Birkenstocks. That being said, they are well formed with a moderate arch, and they have a stiff rocker sole, which is supposedly helping me. The arch is not as high as a Birkenstock arch. The jury is still out as to whether they are helpful to my feet, but maybe they still have to break in or something. Putting in a thin, slightly softer insole into these clogs from another pair of shoes helps to cushion the hard footbed. Not quite 5 stars because I am not sure these are helping my situation in particular, but better than 3 stars because they are very good quality and they are not making my foot situation worse.
